Our Doctors

Dr. Jeremy Berger is originally from Phoenix, Arizona. He received his Bachelor of Science in Biology at Arizona State University and then attended the University of Alabama at Birmingham School of Optometry (UABSO), where he received both his Doctorate of Optometry and Master of Business Administration degrees. He is a Beta Sigma Kappa Honor Society member and received the 2024 Gas Permeable Clinical Excellence Award.

Dr. Berger completed two private practice externships in Birmingham, Alabama, that fueled his desire to run his own practice. He also completed a 5-month externship at the Birmingham VA with a focus on ocular disease. His time spent providing eye care to our veterans has made a positive, lasting impact on his career. Dr Berger has a passion for primary eye care and provides comprehensive eye exams, including glasses and contact lenses, for both adults and children. He currently provides examinations for the detection and management of medical conditions such as dry eye, diabetic retinopathy, myopia, macular degeneration, cataracts, and more.   
 

Dr. Berger currently lives in Phoenix with his fiancée, Dr. Sarah Herrero, a classmate of his at UABSO who currently practices Optometry in the Desert Ridge area. He enjoys hiking, working out, and all things Arizona sports!  

Dr. Brian F. Easley, OD, is an Arizona native. He is a third-generation Sun Devil, earning his undergraduate degree in Chemistry from Arizona State University, and his Doctorate of Optometry from Southern California College of Optometry. He started his first practice, “Family Optometry”, in Glendale, Arizona, in 1982.

He inherited many patients from his uncle, Dr. Willis Easley, OD, and his father, Robert F. Easley, MD, who was one of the first family practice doctors in Glendale. He is proud to carry on the care of generations of families across the Valley and makes spending adequate time with each patient a priority. He manages preventative eye care, glasses, and contact lenses (soft, toric, gas permeable, and hard) and is thankful to have access to much of the latest diagnostic equipment to care for his patients' eye health. 

Dr. Easley enjoys reading, hiking, biking, and trying new local restaurants with friends and family. He has three beautiful daughters, and the family has been longtime members at Christ’s Church of the Valley. He is a true “family doctor” and loves to hear your memories, tell stories, and see his patients out and about- so please say hello next time you see him!
